About

Tools for regulation in daily life.

Who we are

Life Regulation Lab was created by a neurodivergent mental health professional who got diagnosed with ADHD later in life. That diagnosis explained a lot—the burnout cycles, the sensory overwhelm that couldn't be named, the executive dysfunction that had been masked for years.

Everything here is grounded in evidence and lived experience. No corporate wellness language. No toxic positivity. Practical tools for regulation in daily life.

Why this exists

Life Regulation Lab exists because forcing neurodivergent brains into neurotypical systems doesn't work. Watching neurodivergent people push harder, burn out, and wonder why they can't just "get it together" made it clear that something different was needed.

The truth is, we're not broken. We're working with different operating systems. And we need tools that actually understand how our brains work—the executive dysfunction, the sensory processing differences, the way we experience and regulate emotions.

These tools were built not as a business venture or productivity hack, but as a genuine attempt to create resources grounded in both clinical expertise and lived experience. Resources that might help you now.

What we're about

This isn't about optimizing yourself or becoming more productive. It's about understanding your brain well enough to work with it instead of against it. It's about recognizing when you're overwhelmed before you crash. It's about having language for experiences you've always had but couldn't name.

Everything here is grounded in evidence and lived experience. No corporate wellness nonsense. No toxic positivity. Just practical tools for regulation in real life—the messy, complicated, sometimes overwhelming real life that we're all navigating.

These tools exist to help you understand your brain and work with it, not against it.

Not perfection, not productivity. Understanding and working with your neurodivergent brain as it is.
